I have spoken to many that would regard FF6 to be the very best of the series. This may be a stupid question, but what system was/is it on? I'd really like to play it. Was the re-release on this for the PSX? If so can it still be purchased?
Pardon the stupid questions, and thanks for any info.

Re: Final Fantasy VI
Mon, June 13, 2005 - 2:22 PMon a gameplay note, since i have just recently been playing the psOne version, i discovered the following glitch:
after meeting up with your other party members in the town of Zozo, the game will (though it shouldn't) let you take Locke and Celes out of your party if you decide to head back to the town of Narshe to teach all of your characters the same spells and get them all matched up to the same levels. Once it happens, there is no way to put them back in your party if you make the mistake.
When you finally go to the house on the far north point in Jidoor and the Impresario shows you Setzer's note about wanting to run off with the opera singer, you cannot progress the story of the game until you go to the opera house.
if your party DOES NOT include the 2 necessary characters for this part (Locke and Celes) the game will lock up as soon as you try talking to the Impresario
(Now, after 28 hours of game play, racking up 400k GP and getting all of my characters trained up to Lv 29 and with all of the available spells, i have to start all over again *sob*) -
