Basically, I'm asking about stuff like different races and weapons. The Gunblade seems like a neat weapon. Cid's Highwind from FFVII rocks.

Mon, July 25, 2005 - 4:18 PMThe Airships...yeah, we've got airplanes, but I mean come on, the Airships were always more like flying fortresses....yes, they usually ended up crashing or stuck in orbit...But I want a high-speed armored zepplin palace....

Mon, July 25, 2005 - 10:22 PMI liked the SEED school in FFVIII. I could totally live there.
Also the floating carnival in the sky (FFVII) was pretty cool.

Re: Coolest concepts in FF
Wed, July 27, 2005 - 9:21 AMHere's a really sick thing to like in the games....but its something that I bet everyone has thought about but wouldn't want to admit... Imagine a world overrun by beasts, monsters, etc... A world where, if you were going out, you were an idiot to not take some kind of weapon with you to defend yourself. In addition to that, imagine a world on the brink of a catastrophe, and apocalypse, an arrmageddon. The reason we play these games is because they are an escape from the mundane nature of our reality. There are no ogres, or giants, or dragons for us to fight. Instead we live in a reality of child molestors, murderers and terrorists that, for the most part, we don't have to worry too much about...but those are our monsters, inhuman creatures in human form that really, we can't do anything about.
I for one would rather the world be on the brink of an emminent catastrophe of epic and fantastic proportions than the slow slide into decay that we find ourselves in in the real world. Of course, some would argue that we are, in fact, on the brink of catastrophe, the way the world is going right now....Maybe I just want an Ultima Weapon.
